Does this apply to all types of tattoos?
The laser can erase almost all types of tattoos. The colour and the depth of the tattoo will be decisive (difference between professional and home-made tattoo).
Paradoxically, black and dark blue are the easiest colours to treat, while green is the most difficult. Red is also easily removed, while orange, sky blue and yellow are intermediate.

Does it give good results?
The results depend on the colour and depth of the tattoo, but the result is very good. The age of the tattoo does not affect the effectiveness of the treatment. The specific laser, especially Nd YAG, used skilfully, does not give any after-effect scars.
Does it disappear forever?
Yes, once the tattoo is gone, it is gone forever.
How many sessions are needed ?
Generally, for amateur tattoos, 2 to 4 sessions are sufficient, whereas for professional tattoos, which disappear more slowly, 6 to 15 sessions are required. In some cases, additional sessions may be necessary. An interval of 6 to 8 weeks must be respected between sessions.
Does it hurt ?
Since tattoo removal is a painful procedure, sometimes a local anaesthetic is used. When the pigment is very dense, an anaesthetic cream can be used (applied 1 to 2 hours before) or a local anaesthetic can be used.
How much does it cost?
The price varies according to the size of the tattoo and the number of sessions. A range of estimates can be obtained during the consultation.
