Micro abrasion
What is it?
What does it involve?
This technique, which is purely dermatological, consists of treating acne or stretch mark scars, oily and/or thick skin, “photoaging folds” on the décolleté, etc. by projecting sterile particles (alumina silicate) which abrade the lesion to stimulate the formation of a new epithelium. At the same time, the abraded particles and dead skin are aspirated.
This technique has been abandoned by the more comfortable laser and ultrasound techniques.
